PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adaptively control transmission/reception of data even when two devices are brought close to each other in the state where data to be transmitted is predetermined in both the devices, in a communication system for establishing an one-to-one wireless link by bringing the two devices close to each other to perform data communication. SOLUTION: When a device is brought close to a partner device in the state where data to be transmitted is predetermined, the device sends a transmission notification indicating data transmission to the partner device before starting the transmission of the data to be transmitted. When receiving the transmission notification from the partner device, the device determines a data transmission order and switches data transmission to the partner device and data reception from the partner device, according to the determined transmission order.
