PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating armature that is small in bias for the center of gravity and excels in rotational balance and does not vibrate so much during rotation. SOLUTION: On the teeth of an armature core 16, an inner layer tooth portion 21a and outer layer tooth portions 21b, 21c bifurcating therefrom in the circumferential direction are formed; of multiple windings, inner layer windings 17a that are alternately located in the circumferential direction and do not overlap in this direction are wound around the inner layer tooth portion 21a; the remaining outer layer windings 17b that are located at every other sites and do not overlap in the circumferential direction are wound astride a pair of outer layer tooth portions 21b, 21c opposed to each other between adjacent teeth; and when respective winding 17a, 17b is wound, the windings 17a, 17b are wound, while it being sequentially shifted to a tooth portion 21a to 21c as the target of winding located at a farthest position, excluding the 180°-opposed positions.
