PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-liquid separator which achieves improved heat generation efficiency in separating a liquid-containing material into a powder and a vapor and can separate and recover a liquid ingredient and a solid ingredient efficiently from the liquid-containing material. SOLUTION: A collision reaction chamber 4 containing the liquid-containing material is formed within a container 1, and two or more rotation shafts 12 and 13 are arranged in the collision reaction chamber 4 in a freely rotatable way. Rotary blades 12A-12D and 13A-13D allowing the liquid-containing material to collide with them and crushing the liquid-containing material so as to impart kinetic energy are arranged, respectively, on the rotation shafts 12 and 13, and the rotating directions and rotational speeds of individual rotation shafts 12 and 13 are controllable.
