PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically tune a retrieval algorithm for a user to obtain exactly required information. SOLUTION: Document analytical processing is carried out in a query document (S1), and a retrieval index is prepared based on an obtained word (S2). A document is retrieval-processed in a database 10 containing a large amount of data, using the retrieval index (S3). Document analysis for extracting a metadata (S01) and the preparation of the retrieval index (S02) are carried out as processing in a retrieved side. A result obtained by the retrieval processing in the step S3 is ranking-displayed in a user terminal input with the query (S4). A degree of browsing the document ranking-displayed in the step S4 is evaluated therein, and the retrieval algorithm is automatically tuned to display the document desired by each user in an upper rank on the ranking display in response to an evaluation result (S5).
