PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable in which an edged tool such as a cutter is unnecessary when removing a pressor winding tape 40 and an intermediate post branching operation is easily performed. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable includes: a slot rod 10 on the outer periphery of which housing grooves 12 are formed and optical fibers are housed in the housing grooves 12; and a pressor winding tape 40 and a sheath 60, which cover the outer periphery of the slot rod 10. The pressor winding tape 40 has breaking tension (N)×breaking elongation (%) of 1,000 or smaller, and cuts are provided on the end in the width direction of the pressor winding tape 40.
