PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a fiber board, capable of preventing easily a fiber mat from being adhered to a conveyer when pressurized heatedly, even when containing an acid-modified thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the fiber board includes a fiber mat forming process for forming the fiber mat by mixing a vegetable fiber and a thermoplastic resin fiber containing the acid-modified thermoplastic resin, an aqueous dispersion applying process for spray-applying an aqueous dispersion of the thermoplastic resin, on both faces of the fiber mat, and a heating pressurizing process for obtaining the fiber board by heating-pressurizing the fiber mat applied with the aqueous dispersion between the pair of conveyers. The aqueous dispersion is applied preferably to bring 1-15 pts.mass of thermoplastic resin contained in the aqueous dispersion with respect to 100 pts.mass of the fiber mat, in the aqueous dispersion applying process.
