PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscopic system capable of acquiring an image of high precision even in a case that the correlation between the frames of the acquired image becomes low by the sudden movement of a subject. SOLUTION: The electronic endoscopic system includes an imaging means arranged to the leading end of a flexible tube inserted into the body for photographing an observation object to form an image signal, an operation means for moving the leading end of the flexible tube, a displacement quantity detecting means for detecting the mechanical displacement quantity of the operation means, and a noise reduction means for reducing the noise of the image signal formed by the imaging means on the basis of the displacement quantity detected by the displacement quantity detecting means.
