摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demolition method for disassembling a multi-story building by a jacking-down method while maintaining it in a structurally stable state even at earthquake and wind load. SOLUTION: When disassembling either of adjacent multi-story buildings 2a, 2b, a jack 10 is applied to each column P at the specific lower story Fv of the building 2a to be disassembled on one side, and a plurality of load transmission beams 40 connected with the story Fj above the jack (j>v) of the adjacent building 2b on the other side are horizontally protruded into the building 2a to be disassembled, respectively, to be engaged with the column P above the jack slidably. In this method, a contraction step for contracting the jacks 10 to be applied on each column P simultaneously and an extension step for removing the upper part just above the jack and extending the jack 10 are repeated, and the load transmission beam 40 coming into contact with a floor surface 3 above the jack lowering when these steps are repeated is temporarily pulled out into the adjacent building 2b and is replaced with the column P above the jack after lowering to lower each story Fj above the jack of the building 2a to be disassembled while being engaged with any of the load transmission beams 40.
