The bimetallic part for use as an active switch element in a temperature-dependent switch, comprises an inner area (13) and an outer area (12) surrounding the inner area. The inner and outer areas are integrally designed in some sections, are mechanically separated from each other in other sections and are stamped in opposite directions, and a contact area (21) is provided on the inner area. The bimetallic part is formed as rectangular spring (11). The spring comprises an interior web extending itself in longitudinal direction of the spring, and two external webs. The spring comprises an interior web extending itself in longitudinal direction of the spring, and two external webs extending itself in longitudinal direction of the spring as external area. The external webs separate the internal web over a column (14, 15) extending itself in longitudinal direction. The internal web has comparable mechanical characteristics like the external web. The bimetallic part is formed as a disc. The inner area is surrounded by the column that is segmentally interrupted. The inner area carries a contact bridge with two contact areas or carries a movable contact part that is determined in positive-locking or power-fit manner and is formed on the contact area. The contact area is integrated in the inner area and is connected through plating or galvanization with a conductive material or through rolling a conductive material with the area in positive-fit manner. An independent claim is included for a temperature-dependent switch. |
