PURPOSE: A driver convenience device, and a traffic jam solving method thereof are provided to reduce traffic jam by offering the left turn or right turn information of a preceding vehicle and changing a lane in advance based on the result. CONSTITUTION: A GPS receiver(11) receives the present position information of a vehicle from a GPS satellite. A communications module(12) receives the location information and path information of a vehicle which are broadcasted from a terminal for a front or rear vehicle. The communications module broadcasts the location information and path information of a vehicle. An electronic control unit(13) offers path information in order to determine whether a lane is changed. The electronic control unit comprises a navigation performing unit(131), an extracting unit(132), a determining unit(133), and a processing unit(134). |
