The system (2) has a frame (6) and a surface element (8) that is carried by the frame for marten quenching. The frame and the surface element are formed as a plastic injection molding part. Multiple upward distant pin-shaped elements (12) are distributedly arranged over the surface element. The pin-shaped elements are arranged in a predetermined grid dimension that lies in the range of 1-5 cm. The pin-shaped elements are arranged at cross-over points of the surface element. The height of the pin-shaped element is in the range of 3-5 cm.
