The method involves supplying a part of water in a circulating fluidized bed containing solid particles. The part of water is supplied to the solid particles in a wetting area (33) of flue gas purification equipment (2), in which the water is available in a stationary fluidized bed. An independent claim is also included for flue gas purification equipment with a water supply line.
