Viterbi decoder with two memories adapted to GNSS signals

A source memory A (10) and a destination memory B (20) have N rows and M+L columns which are respectively allocated to M fixed fields for describing the trellis, and to L variable fields. An operator (30) calculates the variable fields of a memory as a function of the fixed fields of the memory and reverses the role of the source memory and destination memory. An independent claim is included for method for receiving digital signal.
