PURPOSE: A direct printing system of an image forming device and a method thereof are provided to directly print a document file stored in a mass storage device, thereby removing a cumbersome printing work due to PC connection. CONSTITUTION: A read unit(2) successively reads files stored in a mass storage device(1). A display unit(4) displays file list information of the read file. A controller(3) analyzes header information of a file selected from the displayed file list information. An output unit(6) receives the analyzed header information. The output unit outputs the header information.
