PURPOSE: A method for tracking position based on femto cell and a mobile telecommunication system for the same are provided to more accurately trace the location of the terminal adjacent to the indoor base station. CONSTITUTION: Outdoor eNB(enhanced Node B)(10,20,30) requests the information about the indoor eNB(home eNB) to UE(User Equipment) for tracing the location of UE. The outdoor eNB receives and delivers the indoor base station information to the UE. An MME/serving gateway(80) transmits the position tracing request to the outdoor eNB. The MME/serving gateway traces the location of UE based on the outdoor base station information delivered from the outdoor eNB.
