The device has a primary optical module (403) i.e. LED, to produce optical beams having a code type cut-off line, and a secondary optical module (404) to produce optical beams having a L-shaped cut-off line with a horizontal portion, which is interrupted by rise drift comprised between 45 degrees and 135 degrees with respect to the horizontal portion. The horizontal portion of the cut-off line extends from right or left of rise drift. The optical modules are arranged on a support (401) to be changed in rotation. An independent claim is also included for a method for automatic adaptation of light beams produced by a lighting device.
