<p>The present invention refers to the field of utility vehicles for transporting merchandise, mainly those vehicles known as chassis over which chests, arks, coffers, etc are mounted, and fastened to the same structure or chassis of the automotive vehicle, the invention referring to a modular coffer that may be stored in a small space since it is collapsed and may be parcelled to the user. Likewise, a bodywork maker is not required, as any person, even though he/she is not familiar with the bodywork art, is able to perform the correct assembly of the modular coffer for automotive vehicle of the present invention. The invention includes: A platform based on a couple of stringers, a frame and crossbars over which a front panel is mounted and attached to said platform by means of a couple of corners; a couple of side panels fastened to the platform by corners, a rear frame attached to the rear portion of the side panels by fastening means, a couple of doors attached to the said frame for doors by means of hinges, where these latter elements are attached to the modular coffer for vehicles by means of fastening means arranged at the rear frame and the rear vertical portion of the side panels; the panels include a square cross-section profile nested by a cross-section profile in C or J and also including a floor located over the platform between the front and side panels and the door frame.</p> |
