PURPOSE: A breaking bar is provided to allow a user to easily select the length of an edge according to scribe line by rotating a break bar along a rotation shaft. CONSTITUTION: A pair of rotary shafts(11a,11b) is formed in both ends of a break bar(10). The breaking part(12) of a pillar shape is interposed between rotary shafts. The breaker bar has a plurality of blade edges(14a,15a) which have different properties and are parallel with each other. The edge of the blade has grooves(14b,14c,15b,15c).
