<p>The invention relates to the field of generation and transmission of a transport stream and more particularly, to the optimization of the generation and the transmission of a transport stream comprising error-code protected multimedia data. To this effect, the invention proposes a method of generation and transmission of at least one transport stream, that comprises successive steps of storing of a first set of data comprising first data representative of multimedia data (301-304) being protected through first error correction codes (310-313); and upon transmission of the at least one transport stream, generation of a second set of data (502) added to the first set of data and being protected through second error correction codes (501); and transmission of the first set of data and the second set of data in the at least one transport stream (55).</p> |
