#CMT# #/CMT# The piston (3) has a piston head fixed in a segmented and/or slotted manner with an enlarged contact surface with respect to a working piston (7) between the piston and a working medium i.e. air. Thermal energy is emitted from the piston to the working medium. The working piston and the piston are mechanically coupled with each other. A set of longitudinal slots is formed in the piston head, where through-flow of the working medium is achieved through the piston head out of a region of a heat exchanger in a direction of a piston pin. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a thermal engine provided with a driven flywheel or a crankshaft having a closed total interior to be filled with a working medium and closed in a pressure-tight manner, comprising a heat exchanger connected with a working chamber and a heat transmission chamber. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Slotted heat transmission piston for a thermal engine (claimed) i.e. stirling engine, to drive a flywheel. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The piston has the piston heads aligned or arranged in relation to multiple transmission and working chambers to increase efficiency of the thermal engine. The piston allows exchanging of thermal energy with small dead volume, where the working medium is not cooled unnecessarily before a heating process. The piston solves a problem of providing the thermal engine that achieves high efficiency with multiple additional electrical controls.
