PURPOSE: A thermoelectric device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to be used for electronic appliances or waste heat generators by improving a thermoelectric power factor. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of nano-structures(10) contains magnetic materials. The nano-structures are expanded to the X-axis direction. A thermoelectric unit(20) is closely arranged to the nano-structures. The thermoelectric unit is capable of being substituted as the surface of the nano-structures. The electric conductivity of the nano-structures is higher than that of the thermoelectric unit.
