ADAPTIVE INTERFERENCE CANCELLATION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ICS REPEATER IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An adaptive interference cancellation apparatus and a method for ICS repeater in a wireless communication system are provided to adaptively change the step size toward the tap count value of the FIR(Finite Impulse Response) filter into the vector valued. CONSTITUTION: An FIR filter(610) combines all signals created by N tap coefficients. The FIR filter presumes a signal for transmission. A buffer(621) temporarily stores a step size used in the FIR filter. A step size controller(620) updates the previous step size saved in the buffer. The step size controller outputs the N step sizes used in the FIR filter. An SNR(Signal-to-Noise Ratio) measuring unit(630) measures the SNR of the synthesized signal.
