The U-bolt (68) has two longitudinal branches joined at their rear ends by a base (72), where each branch has a pin (78) extending in the direction of the opposite branch. The pins are received, in a locking position, in complementary housings (80) arranged in a fixing bead (60) of a locking body of a handle (10) so that the body is locked transversely in a handle support. An independent claim is also included for a process of fixing of a fixing bead of an external unit in a handle support using a locking unit.
