PURPOSE: A composition for transferring a functional material containing ester, and a micro-encapsulating method for the functional material are provided to secure the desired ester hydrolysis rate. CONSTITUTION: A composition for transferring a functional material containing ester contains the functional material, a non-active carrier, and an enteric property matrix containing a food grade enteric property polymer. The enteric property matrix encapsulates the functional material and the non-active carrier.
