The Phomopsis longicolla S1B4 has an ability of producing dicerandrol A of chemical formula 1. The Phomopsis longicolla S1B4 is used for preventing plant pathogen. The Phomopsis longicolla S1B4 is used in the form of culture medium or solvent extract of culture medium.
