The device has an adapter attached at a supporting platform i.e. meter box, via side pieces of meter cross joints, and an electricity meter coupled with power conductors i.e. spring contact elements (16a, 18a), via a form fit connection. The adapter comprises devices for attachment of additional devices. The adapter comprises an open box part (10a) that is provided with an intermediate base (9a) that holds the electricity meter. The spring contact elements are guided to connecting strips (11a) that are arranged at a side of the box part. An independent claim is also included for an electricity meter adapter that comprises hook elements.
