The cartridge (12) has a capsule (12.1) and a valve insert (18) whose one end is inserted into the capsule, and another end receives a valve body (19) with a main valve seat (19.1). A lower valve part (20) is axially braced on the valve insert. A flat filter (21) filters out dirt particles connected via a retaining unit to the lower valve part. The retaining unit comprises components of a flat filter end and a lower valve part side that make a partial clamping connection between the flat filter and the lower valve part, where the component on the flat filter end is embodied as a retaining tab. An independent claim is also included for a solenoid valve comprising a magnet assembly and a valve cartridge.
