<p>The method involves connecting an upper layer (2) and a lower layer of a double-layered material (1) with one another through quilting seams (3a-3c). The seams are provided with respective sealing patterns (4a-4c) in predetermined distances, where the material is separated in the height of the sealing patterns after the manufacturing the seams. The sealing patterns are produced when a sewing device is moved during a feed motion of the material continuously at sides of the seams. A stitch length of the sealing patterns is smaller than the stitch length of the seams. An independent claim is also included for a double-layered material comprising an upper layer and a lower layer.</p> |
