<p>The sleeve (1) has a locking element (7) positionable in a storage position and a locking position for locking a grommet (3). A locking device locks the locking element in the locking position. The locking device is adjustable and pretensioned towards a locking condition for locking the locking element. A release mechanism releases transition of the locking element from the storage position to the locking position during manipulation at a box for values i.e. automated teller machine (ATM). A support (9) serves as a thrust block for the locking element in the locking position. An independent claim is also included for a method for protecting a box for values.</p> |
