<p>A lighting system for medical use which comprises a light assembly and a drape. The light assembly comprises an elongate arm which is surface mountable from a proximal end of the arm, a light head connected to a distal end of the arm and a light source mounted in the light head. The drape comprises an elongate flexible body and a substantially transparent portion. The drape is mounted or mountable on and substantially encloses the light assembly such that in use an amount of the light from the light source exits the substantially transparent portion.</p> |
