PURPOSE: An apparatus for saving the electric power of a water treating pump is provided to encourage the stability of a facility since an automatic control system is introduced to the high pressure pump of a water treating facility. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for saving the electric power of a water treating pump comprises a cooling-water supply pump(120), a roll cooling pump(130), a scale pit pump(140), a filter feed pump(150) and a control unit(100). The roll cooling pump uses the cooling water provided from the cooling-water supply pump and cools the press roll. The scale pit pump transfers the cooling water used for the cooling of the press roll. The filter feed pump filters the used cooling water. The control unit controls the rotating number of one or more motors of the cooling-water supply pump, the roll cooling pump, the scale pit pump and the filter feed pump using a plurality of high-pressure inverters(110~113). |
