PURPOSE: A method for preparing ZnO nanorods by hydrothermal-electrochemical synthesis is provided to form high quality ZnO nanorods with excellent crystalline and orientation and low defect density by controlling hydrothermal synthesis and electrochemical synthesis. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing ZnO nanorods by hydrothermal-electrochemical synthesis comprises the steps of: forming an electrode layer on a substrate and forming a ZnO seed layer on the electrode layer; putting a solution including a Zn precursor in an autoclave with tri-electrode system and connecting the substrate with the ZnO seed layer to the working electrode; and applying voltage to the working electrode and growing ZnO nanorods. |
