PURPOSE: Synchronization circuits and methods usable in shutter glasses are provided to save power consumption by blocking power supply to a receiver during a shutter operation based on a timing signal. CONSTITUTION: A receiver(31) receives a sync signal from a transmission device, and a judgment unit(32) judges the validity of the sync signal. An oscillator(41) generates a reference clock, and supplies clock information to each unit within a timing generator(33). A controller(42) controls the power supply to the receiver by turning on/off a switch(34). Through the count based on a reference clock, a cycle information analyzer(43) calculates the period and pulse width of the sync signal. |
