PURPOSE: An apparatus for providing contents and a method thereof are provided to effectively classify multiple contents according to a condition. CONSTITUTION: A storage(120) stores a plurality of contents related to a plurality of conditional information. According to the condition information inputted by a user input signal, a controller(110) classifies the contents. A display unit(130) indicates the classified contents as described above. The condition information comprises a plurality of condition groups as the contents classification rule and one or more condition item included in the condition group. One of the condition group and condition item is related to more than one content.
