PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for receiving a broadcasting signal are provided to receive a broadcasting signal and additionally receiver channel information or EPG information from a server, thereby reducing time for searching and updating channel and program information. CONSTITUTION: Channel information and EPG(Electronic Program Guide) information are received(500). A channel map is configured using the received channel information(510). At least one of the configured channel map information or the received EPG information is uploaded in an external device connected to a wire/wireless network(520). It is determined whether channel information is changed. |
