A DEVICE TO EXPRESS ONE'S INTENSION BY EMG SIGNAL AND ELECTRIC WHEEL CHAIR HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A device for expressing the intention of the disable by EMG signal and an electric wheel chair having the same are provided to assist the expression of user intention by attaching an EMG sensor on the neck ad arm of the user. CONSTITUTION: A device for expressing the intention of the disable includes an EMG sensor(210), a preprocessing unit(220), a text generator(230), and a display unit(240). The EMG sensor is attached to the muscle of the user to obtain an EMG signal. The preprocessing unit converts the EMG signal to a digital signal. A text generator loads the text corresponding to the digital signal according to the correlation of the digital signal and the text. The display unit displays the text which is loaded the text generator.
