The device has a reinforcement bar (3) extended horizontally at two ends, fixed at a structure of a door and supported against elements of the structure of the door respectively forming front and rear edges of the door. One of the ends of a metal section (30) of the bar is equipped with an end fitting (310). An end surface (311) of the end fitting is in shape of a surface of the structure of door against another end surface of the fitting, where the end surfaces form a bevel with respect to the bar. The end fitting is made of plastic.
