PURPOSE: A soundproof wall is provided to reduce noise of roadways or residential areas by a noise extinction chamber and a noise prevention plate. CONSTITUTION: A soundproof wall(100) comprises multiple posts(110), a soundproof plate(210), and a noise prevention plate. The multiple posts are installed on the upper part of a concrete retaining wall(102) at regular intervals. The soundproof plate is fixed on the front side of the post to block noise. The noise prevention plate is formed on the rear side of the post. The noise prevention plate forms a noise extinction chamber between the soundproof plates.
