PURPOSE: A heater installation structure for a dish washer is provided to efficiently emit heat by preventing a heating unit from being in contact with water. CONSTITUTION: A heater installation structure for a dish washer comprises a heater insertion hole(211) and a heater mounting unit(212). The heater insertion hole is formed in one side wall(210) of a washing water tank(200a) or a rinsing water tank(200b). A heater(300) is inserted into the heater insertion hole without touching with water filled in the washing water tank or the rinsing water tank. The heater mounting unit is protruded toward the inside the washing water tank or the rinsing water tank when the heater is inserted.
