<p>The micrometering pump (1) has a piston (2) which is connected with an anchor plate. The piston is displaced against the force of an energy storage by the interaction of a magnet and an armature. The piston is displaced between two end positions. An end cushioning is provided between the anchor plate and a housing element of the pump. The end cushioning is provided as fluid-fillable contour between the anchor plate and the housing element of the pump. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a micrometering pump for conveying liquid.</p>
