<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the information of correspondence between a photographic image and a three-dimensional actual space only by a photographic image without performing survey or the like, and to track a person by light processing by making the best of the information, in a person tracking method for tracking the movement of the person grasped by a camera. <P>SOLUTION: Statistically mean correspondence between the dimension of the head of a person projected on a photographic image by a camera installed at a position where a measured space is obliquely looked down, and configured to photograph the measured space, and the height position of the photographic image is calculated, and the position and dimension of the head on the frame image are detected, and a motion featured value showing such probability that the head in the time measurement object frame image is the head of the same person as the person having the head on the past measurement object frame image is calculated based on the correspondence between the position and dimension of the head in the frame image, and whether or not the head in this time frame image is the head of the same person as the person having the head on the past frame image is determined by using the motion featured value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
