<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device in which a reflector is eliminated and thinness in depth direction is attained. <P>SOLUTION: The LED lighting device includes a light source part in which a plurality of LEDs 8 are arranged and a plurality of optical lenses 11A arranged adjacent to each LED 8 of the light source part. Each optical lens 11A has a refraction control part 11a to control by refraction light from each LED 8 and a reflection control part 11b to control by reflection the light from each LED 8. Furthermore, the reflection control part 11b is arranged in the surrounding of the refraction control part 11a so as to surround it. Here, the reflection control part 11b utilizes total reflection of the optical lens 11A at the air interface.
