PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in a magnification/reduction operation for an information processing apparatus, an image magnification/reduction method and its program.

SOLUTION: On the basis of one locus when a touch position on the display screen of a display part moves, a central point and magnification in magnifying or reducing an image are set. For example, it is possible to magnify and reduce an image by a simple touch operation (that is, a single touch) only to plot a locus with one finger.
