<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select advertisement information corresponding to a single or consecutive pictograph or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An advertisement providing apparatus includes; an article browsing request reception means that receives an article viewing request from a user terminal; an article acquisition means that obtains article contents indicated by the article browsing request from a content database; a means for acquiring pictographs or the like extraction and corresponding word that refers to a single-pictograph-or-the-like dictionary and a consecutive-pictographs-or-the-like dictionary to extract a single pictograph or the like or consecutive pictographs or the like from the obtained article contents and obtains a corresponding word; an advertisement matching means that refers to an advertisement database to perform advertisement matching based on the word corresponding to the extracted single-pictograph-or-the-like or consecutive-pictographs-or-the-like; an advertisement embedding means that embeds an advertisement in the article contents; and an article page transmission means that transmits a page of the article contents with the advertisement embedded therein to a request source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
