PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method by which a pneumatic tire 2 being superior in quality can be obtained at low cost. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method includes: (1) a process wherein a low cover 68 is molded; (2) a process wherein the low cover 68 is supplied in a space between a mold 66 and a bladder 44 in a vulcanizing apparatus 42 equipped with the mold 66, the bladder 44 which is located inside of the mold 66, and a core 52 which is located further inside of the bladder 44; (3) a process wherein the low cover 68 is heated under a state wherein the external surface 86 of the low cover 68 comes into contact with the cavity surface 80 of the mold 66, the internal surface 84 of the low cover 68 comes into contact with the external surface 82 of the bladder 44, and the section of a bead 8 of the low cover 68 is pressed by the core 52 from the internal surface 64 of the bladder 44.
