PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily control a power supply voltage by overcoming the problem in a conventional power supply voltage control circuit, which is not able to perform the high speed control of the power supply voltage. SOLUTION: The power supply voltage control circuit is configured to control a power supply voltage to be supplied to a target circuit 6 which performs prescribed signal processing, and includes: a control circuit 3 for, when raising a power supply voltage to be supplied to the target circuit 6 from a first power supply voltage to a second power supply voltage, selectively generating a first control signal to raise the power supply voltage toward the voltage level of the second power supply voltage and a second control signal to raise the power supply voltage to a voltage level which is higher than the second power supply voltage, and then to drop the power supply voltage to the second power supply voltage; and a power supply circuit 2 for generating a power supply voltage based on the first or second control signal, and for supplying the power supply voltage to the target circuit 6.
