PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate measurement values similar to those in measurement, using an actual measuring instrument, without having to perform operations that allow a user to designate two optional points. SOLUTION: When an operation device 14 receives traveling operation to virtual slide calipers B and a traveling processing section 15 moves jaws B1, B2 of the virtual slide calipers B to a position including a measurement target A, in a measurement space ms formed by the virtual slide calipers B, a coordinates-system setting section 16 sets a local coordinates system to the measurement space ms, and a measurement value calculating section 17 detects the maximum and minimum values of point group data, in a direction of the local coordinates system and calculates the difference value between the maximum and minimum values as the measurement value for the measurement target A.
