PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recorder for allowing a user to obtain a desired video, when performing recording at a low frame rate. SOLUTION: A moving picture is inputted into a video input 1, and an arbitrary sensor signal is inputted into a sensor input 2. At a slot memory 3, a frame of the moving picture is accumulated by a slot length calculated at a slot length calculator 8, while the sensor signal is accumulated in synchronization with the moving picture. A frame selection determiner 4 determines at least one frame in the frames of the moving picture in one slot as a stored frame, using the sensor signal or information at a determination result memory 7 which stores past determination result in the frame selection determiner 4.
