PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet label feeder and a labeling machine capable of consistently pressing a label bundle in a label magazine, and suppressing occurrence of defective feed of labels. SOLUTION: The sheet label feeder has a label storage part 5 which has a label take-out port 7 on its front side to store a label bundle 100 so that each sheet label 101 is aligned from the label take-out port 7 side, and a pressing plate and a hatchet-shaped pressing plate 38 for pressing the label bundle 100 stored in the label storage part 5 from its rear side. The pressing plate is provided in a longitudinally movable manner so as to be located behind the hatchet-shaped pressing plate 38 in the label storage part 5. The hatchet-shaped pressing plate 38 goes in/out in the direction for allotting the inside of the label storage part 5 for the label bundles, and is provided in a longitudinally movable manner along the stacking direction of the label bundles.
