PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a wheel having highly airtight air chambers radially inside of a bead seat of a rim, in a highly productive manner. SOLUTION: The wheel includes an annular space formed radially inside of the bead seat of the rim and partitioned into the plurality of air chambers 5 via partition walls 4, and communication parts 6 formed in the air chambers 5 between the air chamber 5 and a large space radially outside of the rim, the air chambers 5 and the communication parts 6 constituting a Helmholtz resonator. In manufacturing the same, a peripheral wall is shaped which is isolated from the flange of the rim while extending radially outside of a well, a plurality of partition materials 13 are arranged between the peripheral wall and the flange in spaced relation, the peripheral wall is bent to the side of the flange and pushed at its front end against the flange to form the bead seat and the space, holes as the communication parts 6 are formed in the peripheral wall, and a sealing material 12 is supplied from the communication parts 6 toward boundaries between the partition material 13 and the wall face to fill the boundaries to form the plurality of partition walls 4 together with the partition materials 13.
